I’ve written for a number of different Canadian magazines over the years, Chatelaine, Homemakers, Elle, Style at Home, Best Health and Reader’s Digest to name a few. Currently I write for Franchise Canada, the Queen’s Alumni Review and Reader’s Digest on a regular basis.
My Best Health article entitled, ‘Sex After Breast Cancer’ was awarded third prize in the consumer category in 2012 by the Association of Health Care Journalists in the United States.
Another article, ‘Brace Yourself’ published in More magazine won the Barbara Novak Award for Humour and/or Personal Essay Writing in 2011 from the Professional Writers Association of Canada.
