Newspaper stories

A Crack in the Pavement

I’ve written for a number of newspapers over the years, including five Toronto newspapers. Currently, I write book reviews for the Toronto Star. Over the years I’ve written a number of lifestyle stories as well as homes, condo and décor stories for the Star. This link will take you to the most current ones.

I’ve written features for the Globe and Mail, Toronto Sun and National Post. I’m posting some of those on my website. In addition, I wrote a column for Metro for a year. One of my columns, “How Did Grandma Get on Facebook’ won the Barbara Novak Award for Excellence in Humour or Personal Essay writing from the Professional Writers Association of Canada in 2010.
